1987-2001

Leo was our first lowchen and our first champion. I remember going to the G Mex in Manchester to the Manchester Dog Show in 1988 to pick him up from the late Wendy Reeves and her daughter Sue of the famous Shimeesha Kennels in the UK.

He was my all time favourite and love of my life , We had a special bond.

Our favourite game was to play hide and seek. Wherever I would hide he would always find me no matter how long it took him and it was funny to listen to him running from room to room looking for me.When packing the car the night before a show , he would get into the car and not come out . He had to be foceabley taken out of the car. He was not going to be left behind, and because of his love of the shows he was shown right up to three months before he died at the age of 14 yrs.

He was a great representive of the breed ,group winner and many group placings, and was top winning Lowchen in Ireland for many years.

I still miss him very much and think of him often with fond memories .
